Under the lid

I recently put together a line of Resist Hop hats. I've got those ill knit caps, the traditional baseball cap and the dope camo and I was thinking, what really counts is what's going on under the lid. Having style is cool but what are you bringing with it? That joint, My Kung Fu, (DCQ, CES and Mos) makes a good point about the B-Boy introducing the B-man. I hope that Hip Hop reaches new levels not just in making doe off records and ish but having the insight to parlay the benefits of being down with hip hop into reaching new heights. Legacy type heights by putting money into bigger enterprises. Bigger than restaurants and clothing stores, if you want to make a real impression, buy the MTA. That's big. It's obvious that the intelligence it takes to go where hip hop has gone is there. I continue to be in awe and have the utmost admiration for the brothers on the grind generating ridiculous amounts of doe utilizing their creative energy in all the areas of hip hop. It is unquestionably and unequivocally for real for real. So bust it, I'm just saying respect to those who are looking beyond spending sick amounts making fashion statements with ice and gear and have more going on under the lid.
