I was ready to see what he was dealing with but he never approached the microphone. My then, guitar teacher, Leo, the Bass/drummer of the band introduced him more than once, shouted him out a few times and as I watched SAGA spit slugs to the hip hop violins, funky sounds of the triton and drums; while the one and only Master of Ceremony SAM G ripped it and mad other cats put it down, my rap cat ordered another round. As my head was noddin while the bass was banging I was thinking where does that flow come from? Clever rhymes over beats, the ability to flip topics so fluidly that it makes you say OOOOOH. That should have been my opportunity to be up close, behind the scenes and come to know if the ability to be a dope lyricist is based on your experiences and intellectual thinking or just that innate G'd thing that would allow sick rhymes to flow so profoundly (..invisible man got the whole world watching..-D.
