i'm a take a minute to go through the dedication
i'm ill rand and the cd is resist hop...cause i can't stop
it's a concept that I created a while ago
the resist is not negative
it's a statement that says your conscience opposes your ego
your conscience is higher than your ego
and so everything is done on a very conscious level
and that's speaking for the music, the whole style, all around
everything is definitely conscience opposing ego
so that's what that is
and of course the hop, that"s when you increase your power or energy
and that's what i'm always trying to do
increase my energy and be on a higher level than before
so basically resisting is doing
when you resist all the negativity when you start to live on a higher level
then you're doing something
it's something positive
i like to say that i produce different results by resisting previous ways
so i put together this little cd
it's just some of the joints that i think are hot, have been hot, are hot now
you know i appreciate good music and i appreciate all the artists that do that
so i mixed together some beats
and some rhymes
that i was feeling at the moment
some of them are kinda dope
i got a whole different style coming from a whole different place
i'm down with a lot of things
science, math, optometry, hip hop, music, beats, diggin old stuff
making new stuff, creative stuff you know different stuff
what i like, who i like
there's a lot more artists that i like but i couldn't put everybody
plus my crate is gradually becoming great
i got mad records now
but i'm still building, and building
it's steadily evolving
cause i always was down with the crews in the neighborhood
you know watching, watching always watching
but now i'm doing
cause resisting is doing....like i said....what?
